Nguyen has accumulated years of experience serving Japanese and FDI companies in various business lines such as Trading, Manufacturing, Service, and Real Estate. Nguyen is recognized for his in-depth knowledge and understanding of tax regulations and the accounting regime in Vietnam. He has extensively developed his expertise in providing tax & HR advisory services, including tax compliance, tax planning, tax saving, tax due diligence and payroll.
Notable clients he has advised include Nippoi Oil Pulm, Japan Shirogane Logistic, Japan FRP, Kanefusa, Itak Internaltional, Nippoi Oil Pulm, among others. Before joining VBK, Nguyen also served as a Senior Tax Advisor for Viet Thai International Group (owner of Highlands Coffee, Pho24, Aldo, Swarovski, My Mart, and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf). This role gave him extensive experience in the Retail, FMCG, and Food & Beverage industries.
Nguyen is a member of the Legal Advisory Board, specializing in consulting on Personal Income Tax for more than 2,000 members at the Vietnam Human Resources Association (VNHR).
Nguyen holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Vietnam) designation issued by the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam, and a Certified Tax Advisor (CTA Vietnam) designation issued by the General Department of Taxation, Vietnam.
